Timing Chips
When you check in for the 5k event, you will receive a white envelope. Your envelope will have your name on it and inside the envelope will be your bib number, timing chip and two twist ties.
You will need to use the twist ties to attach the timing chip to one of your shoes (see photo sequence below). Please DO NOT attach the chip to your shoe with your shoe laces as this can break the chip and cause you to not receive a time.
VERY IMPORTANT: If you pickup your race packet on Friday – DO NOT LEAVE YOUR TIMING CHIP AT HOME! Also, your timing chip will be used as your ticket to get your medal. At the end of the race you will hand in your chip to get a medal and candy bag.
Start Times
5k Start Time: 8:30 am
Little Jelly Tot Dash: 9:30 am *
*We will attempt to wait until everyone is finished the 5k before starting the kids race
We will run the kids off in two groups.
- Group 1 – Kids aged 4 and Under
- Group 2 – Kids aged 5 and 6
At 9:30 am, we will meet at the finish line for the 5k, walk out to the start of the kids race and run them off. Parents can walk/run with their kids.
Parking
Parking is available at Sawyer Point Park or on the street at the parking meters. The last time we checked, parking was $5 per car.

No Animals Please
Please do not bring your animals to this event. Our insurance does not permit it. Only animals permitted are working animals that fall under the ADA (American Disabilities Act). A pet is not a working animals
